Definitions
Latvian (n) A native of Latvia, a country of northern Europe on the Baltic Sea. (adj) Of or
relating to Latvia or its people, language (aka Lettish), or culture.
Jesus Freak (slang) A person who really loves Jesus.
Jesus (n) The only Son of God, through whom all things were made. For us and for our
salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary
and became Man. For our sake he was crucified; suffered death and was buried. On the third
day he rose again; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
Via de Cristo (n) A lay movement withing the Lutheran Church to develop Christian lay
leaders by renewing their faith and trust in the Grace of God through Christ, and thus
renewing their congregations and the environment's in which they live and work.
Testimony (n) In law and in religion, testimony is a solemn attestation as to the truth of
a matter.
In memoriam (latin) In memory of; to the memory of; as a memorial to.
Family tree (n) The totality of ones ancestors represented as a tree structure, or more
specifically, a chart used in genealogy.
